For novels etc it’s fine. For study material it sucks. If I’m trying to look up say a jQuery function but I have no idea what page it’s on, with a paper book I could just thumb through it and find what I want pretty quickly.

With the kindle it would be next to impossible.

They’re only really designed to read a book from cover to cover, so if it’s study material that you’re reading for the first time and want to read it cover to cover then it’ll work. But later, when you’re revising and need to jump to a page, that’s when it’s painful.

I was thinking of buying one for travel. I still prefer paperbacks but for traveling, I wonder if I can buy a kindle to study while on a plane. My concern is being able to navigate quickly, readability, and perhaps creating bookmarks and notes. Do you suggest purchasing one?

How does the source code look on the Kindle 3? Is it readable and still in the original format? Do you have a pic?

actually, they link the credit card with the postal code, so use your jamaican credit card, put “invent” a US adress and use a real postal code….

i have 10cents remaning in canadian $$ and am trying to chnage over to australian but it ownt let me until i use up my canadian store credit but i cant buy anything with 10cents and do not have a canadian credit card to help me out…? any ideas?

Odata url is being used for mobile. how to give them permission to update the data. they can read the data using the WCF data service url but update is not happening. second how to give login permission to them?
